What is our Botox injection technique?

We’ll clean and sterilize your face to remove any makeup or oils. Then, we’ll inject BOTOX using a fine needle and follow it with a cold compress to help reduce discomfort, swelling, and bruising. You can request a numbing cream to make the procedure more comfortable, but it usually isn’t needed. BOTOX injections are most commonly placed between the eyebrows, around the eyes, and across the forehead. BOTOX treatments typically take about 10 – 15 minutes.
What can I expect after Botox injections?
After your BOTOX injection, we encourage you to return to your usual routine, although you should skip strenuous activities like exercise for at least 24 hours. You’ll need to sleep with your head propped up for at least one night and avoid touching your face, as doing so could accidentally spread the BOTOX to other areas. The injection sites may appear bruised, red, or swollen for 2 – 3 days. In most cases, it takes about a week before the full effects of BOTOX are visible. The results typically last 3 – 4 months.
